Christine Breese Spreading Enlightenment

Article by Groshan Fabiola

Christine Breese is known largely for her work as the founder of the Universal Church of Metaphysics, which is a non-denominational faith community where spirit seekers can come together. In order to spread the spiritual enlightenment, Christine Breese started the University of Metaphysical Sciences. This distance learning school prepares people for careers as metaphysical healers, writers, lecturers, counselors, or meditation facilitators. Since she started her own career by teaching meditation, this plays a large role in everything that the school and church do. She also wanted to provide a path for spirit seekers to minister and share their enlightenment. Besides her work at the school and church, Christine Breese is also known as a prolific writer. She is working on her third full length book and is also the founder and editor of the Starlight Journal. She wrote a great deal of the coursework for the University of Metaphysical Sciences as well, and what she didn't write she carefully edited to ensure a consistent message and accurate explanation of the subject areas. She also offers retreats and workshops throughout the year. While UMS students enjoy seeing Christine Breese at these retreats and workshops because it adds to the educational experience, non-students also appreciate the enlightening encounter. What keeps Christine most busy these days, however, is the University of Metaphysical Sciences. This distance learning school offers bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees and Ph.D.s in metaphysics and various metaphysical subjects that facilitate legitimate careers in this area. She wanted to give students the opportunity to earn their degrees while at home or traveling, so she designed courses that could be delivered as PDF and MP3 files downloaded over the Internet. For those who prefer not to use the Internet, Christine Breese also made the coursework available through traditional mail services. Christine Breese is attempting to spread the word about metaphysics and all th! e enligh tening lessons she has learned. Through all her various endeavors she is making it possible for people to learn about metaphysics and spread the word all over the world.

Enlightenment Ain't What It's Cracked Up To Be: A Journey of Discovery, Snow and Jazz in the Soul

What if you spent years of your life seeking spiritual enlightenment, but were looking in the wrong place over a long time? It's happening right now to millions of seekers around the world.

That's why Dr. Robert Forman has written his revolutionary book, which has recently
become an Award-Winning Finalist in the Spirituality Category of The USA "Best Books 2011" Awards. Told in often poetic prose, Enlightenment Ain't ... offers new direction for people looking for a sane and healthy spiritual pathway in our increasingly confusing world.

Traditional spiritual models are giving seekers a wrong and frustrating impression about spiritual enlightenment. By exploring his own 39 year experience of spiritual enlightenment, Dr. Forman offers a remedy to folks who are:
  • Convinced they don't have the right stuff to achieve enlightenment in this lifetime.
  • Disillusioned by spiritual teachers who don't live up to their lofty self-portraits
  • Worried that choosing a spiritual life means leaving their everyday life behind.
  • Hungry for a different way to be, but unable to express it.
Through metaphor, humor, vulnerability and achingly beautiful prose, Dr. Forman's book offers new found hope to spiritual seekers everywhere.
