What is Enlightenment?
Article by Cem Aydan
Enlightenment is not just an interesting sacred, secret thing. You know the moment you open your heart once again to the whole world, after all the negativity and darkness, that is a step to enlightenment. But enlightenment is not just releasing your ego, or knowing the ancient secrets of Mayans, or being happy at the moment.
Enlightenment is not thinking that you are enlightened either. It's a lot more than that.
Enlightenment is thought as releasing yourself from the pressure of government and society, and searching for the truth of the natural system. If you would learn so much about how the natural laws work, what difference would it make in your life. Do you transform gravity by learning about gravity? Can you stop the natural laws and fly after such an enlightenment?
Neither releasing the ego, nor gaining knowledge can transform you into a Jesus, a Buddha.
Yes you need to release your ego. Because if you think that you know everything, you will not learn and grow, you will stop your own transformation process, by sticking to the same pattern.
And yes, you need to gain knowledge too. But the source of the information is important. For example, who do you talk to if you have a medical problem? You can talk to your friends and family who have gone through that experience, and if they haven't you go to a doctor, right?
After you intend to be enlightened, and release your ego by using sacred meditation techniques, you can then achieve your inner library, and start to become enlightened, since all spiritual masters admit that everything is within, in the sacred Heart. And if you have a medical problem about this issue, go to someone who has gone through this experience. And if you don't know someone like that, try to approach a doctor, a spiritual master. You can even watch their videos on youtube. Choose the guru that you connect with the heart, they may be very far away, but their soul consciousness and love, can be felt if you be open. Or read sacre! d script ures. My favorite one is a 5000 year old book, Bhagavad Gita. This sacred scripture is a manual for mankind, and ecstasy is a symptom you will feel by just reading this book with an open heart.
Enlightenment is an amazing journey, and everyone will go through this journey before reaching the eternal kingdom. There is no other way.
Just Imagine: Before purifying the matter, and transforming it into pure gold, do you believe you deserve to live in the Supreme Kingdom?

About the AuthorMy name is Cem Aydan. I am currently studying psychology at USC in Los Angeles, California. I created this blog because I want to share with people, very important secrets that will answer important questions about self, universe, and God.These are some of the important questions I was curious about:Who am I?Why am I here? How and why this world exists?Who created this magnificent intelligent design? How can we know Him?What are the symptoms of a person who realized Him?How can I love everything? A person who doesn't follow the bona fide spiritual master who is coming from a disciplic succession, can not know the answer to these questions. He/She can only speculate about such questions, and can not find an absolute answer after millions of years. However a self-realized person knows the answer to these questions, because through loving devotional service, a conditioned soul who is ignorant, receives the grace of God, and while feeling ecstatical symptoms of samadhi, the individual soul merges with the Supersoul, and becomes established in the self, which is full of bliss and knowledge. This is not to say that I am an exalted person or something, I believe that I am still the most fallen, because even though I have knowledge in this sacred science, I am not fully established this divine consciousness. I still incur sins, I still live a materialistic life from time to time, however, I do understand the importance of self-realization. What is the only thing that separates you from animals? They have sex, they eat, they drink, they enjoy. Our consciousness is the only difference. We have a chance to analyze, learn, and thus become divine beings. If people like Jesus, Da Vinci, Michelangalo, Muhammed, Einstein, Gandhi made such great impacts on their surroundings, thanks to the divine intervention, we have the same potential too. The passion did not drive these men, they were great devotees, friends, lovers, and servants of the Lord. It's our turn now!The Secrets Blogger
3 Enlightenment, Self, and the Brain. How the brain changes with final liberation

Radical Enlightenment: Philosophy and the Making of Modernity 1650-1750
In the wake of the Scientific Revolution, the late seventeenth and eighteenth centuries saw the complete demolition of traditional structures of authority, scientific thought, and belief by the new philosophy and the philosophers, including Voltaire, Diderot, and Rousseau. The Radical Enlightenment played a part in this revolutionary process, which effectively overthrew all justification for monarchy, aristocracy, and ecclesiastical power, as well as man's dominance over woman, theological dominance of education, and slavery. Despite the present day interest in the revolutions of the eighteenth century, the origins and rise of the Radical Enlightenment have received limited scholarly attention. The greatest obstacle to the movement finding its proper place in modern historical writing is its international scope: the Racial Enlightenment was not French, British, German, Italian, Jewish or Dutch, but all of these at the same time.In this wide-ranging volume, Jonathan Israel offers a novel interpretation of the Radical Enlightenment down to La Mettie and Diderot, two of its key exponents. Particular emphasis is placed on the pivotal role of Spinoza and the widespread underground international philosophical movement known before 1750 as Spinozism.
