Help Lotus Outreach make a fundraising goal right now / Sponsor a GATEways University Scholar in Cambodia

Via Lotus Outreach –  a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to ensuring the education, health and safety of at-risk and exploited women and children in the developing world – comes this message asking for your support.

"We have just 36 hours and $ 5,512 to go to meet our goal!  Whether you donate $ 10, or fully sponsor a student for $ 1,200, every gift will have a huge impact on the life of a girl, her family, and her nation.

"A very special thank you to everyone who participated in our GlobalGiving matching day on Wednesday. With your help, we raised over $ 7,000 for our GATEways scholars in a single day – wow! To meet our campaign goal and fully support these 40 girls through university, we only need to raise $ 5,512 more between now and 11:59 PM on June 15th.

"Will you help us cross the finish line? It costs just $ 100 per month to fully support the university education of one student, including her housing, books, school fees, food, and transportation. Whether you donate $ 10, or fully sponsor a student for $ 1,200, every gift will have a huge impact on the life of a girl, her family, and her nation."
